Primarily correspondence between Ford & Logan and manufacturers and retailers with whom they conducted business. The letters address financial problems such as cash flow, late shipments, and slow sales. Bills to the company are for transportation of goods, and legal documents consist of certificates of protest concerning checks. Bills for transportation of goods for two other entities are also in this collection, namely the company Briggs & Bennet, 1876, and Isaac Emery of Portland, Maine, 1889.
